The sixth annual Great Cajun Cook-Off & Food Fest, presented by Freeport McMoRan Copper and Gold, is a casual, family-friendly event featuring an amateur cajun cook-off, as well as a Food Fest with food from the best Cajun and Southern restaurants around the Valley! Come taste the best gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice, BBQ, bread pudding, greens, and more!
Some of the participating Food Fest vendors include: Abita Beer, Beauregard Food Co., Circle H BBQ, Copper Star Coffee, Flavors of Louisiana, Jamburritos, New Orleans Sno Balls, Ocean Trail, Ragin Cajun Sports Bar, Town Talk II Creole Style BBQ, and more!
This event is a pay one price for admission and samples. Your entrance fee includes all samples by amateur contestants and Restaurants participating in the Food Fest, as well as soda and water. Beer will be available to those 21 and over at a charge of 3 for $10.
CRAWFISH will be sold by the plate at the event. We are working very closely with a supplier from Louisiana to ensure the very best pricing to get those mudbugs out to the desert, which in turn will mean a greater value for you at the event!
