GETTING THERE:
The Lath House Pavilion at Heritage and Science Park is located on the southwest corner of 7th Street and Monroe -- one block south of Van Buren. The Heritage and Science Park garage is located on the west side of Heritage Park, on the corner of 5th Street and Monroe. Additional parking is available at the Civic Plaza East garage, located on the southwest corner of 7th Street and Washington Street. Parking fees may apply. We also encourage you to consider Light Rail options (the Lath House is just a few blocks from the the 3rd Street/Washington and 3rd Street/Jefferson stations). THE COOK-OFF:
The "Cook-Off" is a cooking competition among amateurs in the categories of gumbo and jambalaya and an open Cajun/Southern category. Local residents bring their best family recipe in hopes of winning the unofficial title of Best in the West! Awards are given based on both popular vote (attendees get to taste and vote) and a panel of local judges. We are currently recruiting amateurs soon, please see the Amateur Cook-Off page if you are interested in competing. Judge announcements will be updated once selected!

THE FOOD FEST:
The Food Fest will feature an amazing assortment of local businesses and restaurants sampling their best Cajun and Southern fare in hopes of winning "Best in Show"! We are currently finalizong the restaurants and will update you soon.

ENTERTAINMENT:
As always, the Great Cajun Cook-Off & Food Fest will be featuring a variety of entertainment , includng kid-friendly options like a jump house, balloon artist and face painting! Our musical line-up will hopefully include Southern Rock, Zydeco, Jazz and Blues. We are currently seeking musical acts, please download the Talent Participation Solicitation & Guidelines if your band is interested in performing.
